To contend for the Kogi Central Senate ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Momoh Yusuf Obaro has purchased and picked his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.
Chief Obaro picked his form at the National Headquarters of the party after the party declared sale of forms open.
Recall that earlier, the aspirant had declared his Senate ambition following what he described as extensive consultations with party leaders, stakeholders, and respected community figures across the senatorial district as part of strategic preparations toward the party’s primary election.
“I made this decision after due consultations with family members, APC stakeholders, and respected leaders across Kogi Central. There is a need for representation with the capacity to deliver meaningful and lasting impact in the senatorial district.
“Our people will benefit more from purposeful leadership, inclusive development, and people-focused representation when entrusted with this mandate, Insha’Allah,” he said.
Monitoring aspirants at the APC headquarters, our correspondent noted that Obaro was the first aspirant from the senatorial district to purchase his form.
