Federal University Lokoja Matriculates 4,347 Students 

The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has matriculated no fewer than 4,347 students across six faculties including College of Health Sciences, in a ceremony held at the campus in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.

The Vice-Chancellor of the school, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, charged the students to be law abiding and take their academics seriously.

I stand before you today on this auspicious occasion of the matriculation ceremony, a significant milestone in your academic journey as fresh students of Federal University Lokoja. With great joy and pride, I extend my warmest welcome to each and every one of you. Today marks the beginning of a transformative chapter in your lives, and I assure you that the Federal University Lokoja community is here to support and guide you every step of the way.

The record before me shows that a total number of 4,347 students are matriculating for the 2022/2023 academic session across six (6) faculties including College of Health Sciences.

Matriculation, my dear students, holds a profound purpose. It is a symbolic event that formally marks your induction into the University family. It signifies your commitment to academic excellence, personal growth, and the pursuit of knowledge. As you take the matriculation oath today, you are embracing the values and ethos of Federal University Lokoja, and I encourage you to cherish this moment as a turning point in your lives.
