Gov Bello Appoints SSA on Alternative Medicine, 51 More Aides

Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has appointed no fewer than 52 aides to join his retinue of appointees.

The Secretary to the State Government, Dr Folashade Arike on Tuesday announced the appointment in a statement, congratulating the new appointees and urging them to contribute to the development of the state.

The list included special advisers, senior special assistants, personal assistants, convoy drivers amongst others.

Catchy on the list was the appointment of a Senior Special Assistant on Alternative Medicine, a novel development in the history of the state, and honour done on Mustapha I. Onoruoyiza from the central senatorial district.

The governor also redeployed his personal driver, Haruna Yusuf to the rank of Chief Driver.

“A part-time Member of Kogi State Hajj Commission, Muhammed Sani Salihu has been redeployed as SSA on Inter religion Affair.

“The SSA Youth and Women Mobilization Idah Federal Constituency, Muhammed Nasir Alfa is now the Acting Zonal Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Kogi East,” Dr Arike added.
