The Kogi State Police Command has announced the schedule of written examination for all successful applicants in the ongoing Police Constables Recruitment Exercise.
The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has scheduled the examination for 28th to 30th April 2026 for both General Duty and Specialist cadres.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Saliu Oyiza Afusat in a press release, informed applicants that the examination is strictly for candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening stage.
“For Kogi State candidates, the exercise will be conducted at the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, which serves as the approved examination venue.
“All qualified applicants are advised to visit the official recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to print their Examination Invitation Card, which contains their specific examination date, time, and venue.
“Candidates are required to come to the examination centre with the following items:
1.A pen
2.National Identification Number (NIN) Slip issued by NIMC with a clear photograph
3.Colored Printed Examination Invitation slip
4.White shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas shoes as dress code
The Command reiterated that the recruitment process is completely free of charge and cautioned applicants to be wary of fraudsters and individuals demanding any form of payment for recruitment assistance.
