Governor Yahaya Bello has appointed a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Yahaya Karaku as a Special Adviser on Voters Education and Registration.
Karaku who was serving as the Chairman of Kogi Central Elders Advisory Council to the Governor, received his letter of appointment on Wednesday in Lokoja, presented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayode Arike.
Arike presenting the letter, charged the appointee on more commitment to the administration.
“Your appointment is based on your experience, commitment and loyalty to the government. You are therefore expected to be more committed and dedicated in the discharge of your duties to the expectations of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, Governor of Kogi State,” she said.
