The woman leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gadumo, Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mrs. Rabi Meliga has died.
The deceased died on transit along Itobe road while returning from the eastern part of the state, ebirareporters.com learnt.
Her husband who was with her along their children in the vehicle, confirmed that his wife was healthy before death struck.
Other sources said the late Rabi phoned her children, telling them of her planned return journey to Lokoja and instructed them to clean the house before her arrival.
Mrs.Rabi Meliga was also as an active member of Landlord and Land lady association of new Gadumo community where she displayed her leadership quality to the admiration of many people in the community.
Speaking at a meeting held by members of the association in honour of the deceased, they described her as a committed member whose absence would be greatly missed.
They prayed for the Almighty Allah to grant the deceased aljanah firdausi and her family ,the fortitude to bear the great loss.
The members,led by their chairman,Elder Sunday Ocholi, rose from the meeting and paid visit to Malam Meliga, the husband of the deceased where they expressed their heart-felt condolences over the demise of his wife.
