The choice of Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere as the Kogi Central senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming general elections, has been described as a wise choice.
Business mogul and chieftain of the party in Kogi State, Alh. Khalifa Abdulrahaman Okene stated this on Saturday at the Corporate Elites Forum hosted in Abuja by the Ohere Political Vanguard in collaboration with the Kogi Central Elites for Ohere.
Khalifa Okene revealed that Ohere first made a humble impression on him when they met in 1993.
“As from that moment, he has proven his worth, and he has served in the capacity of a civil servant. His diligent and eloquent style made him whom he is today,” he said.
Okene eulogized the party’s candidate as one who has impacted lives of both young and old in the society.
According to him, the APC candidate is one of few people whose sense of humility stands out and remains unstained since he got into government. This quality, he said, is an assurance that Ohere will emerge victorious at the polls.
“I’m using this opportunity to commend Yahaya Adoza Bello, for he has not made a mistake on the choice of Ohere. This is a wise decision in choosing a worthy representative of the people.
“Therefore, I appeal to everyone to support him in all wise, and include him in your prayers. Ohere is a good man, a lifter of burden who has not stopped doing good. I am in no doubt that when he gets to the Senate tomorrow, he will not sleep. He knows the way and he leads well,” Okene said.
