The medical outreach train of the wife of Kogi State Governor, Hajia Sefinat Ododo has arrived Adavi and Okehi Local Government Areas of Kogi State.
The medical outreach targeted to provide free medical services across the 21 local government areas of the state, consolidates the continuous drive of the First Lady to promote health and wellness in support of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration in the state.
The medical team, ebirareporters.com observed set up stations at Obeiba Wards 1 and 2 in Okehi LGA and Nagazi & Inorere Wards of Adavi LGA on 11th and 12th October respectively.
The outreach provided free medical and counseling services to over 1,500 beneficiaries.
The exercise featured awareness and education on drug abuse and chronic illnesses, vital signs checks, and free blood tests.
Upon consultations with seasoned medical experts, patients are prescribed and dispensed free essential medications.
Her Excellency’s commitment remains steadfast, and healthy communities are empowered communities. Through initiatives like this, she continues to champion accessible healthcare and drug abuse prevention across Kogi State.
