Chairman Resigns in Kogi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Okehi Local Government Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, Mr. Adinoyi Aroke has resigned from the party.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebirareporters.com\">ebirareporters.com<\/a> gathered that gathered that Aroke, who was one of the oldest members of the Party in the local government, has been with the PDP since 1998.<\/p>\n<p>Aroke, who served as former state financial secretary of the party and as former Special Adviser to former Governor Ibrahim Idris on poverty reduction, conveyed his resignation in a letter dated 7th September, 2023, and addressed to the ward chairman of the PDP in Oboroke-Eba Ward, Okehi Local Government.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, he has been a loyal and dedicated member of the party since 1998, noting that by the letter of resignation issued to the chairman of PDP, Oboroke Eba, his membership of the party has come to an end.<\/p>\n<p>Okehi is the home local government of Mrs <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023\/09\/08\/ohere-natasha-judgment-day\/\">Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan<\/a>, the PDP senatorial candidate in the last National Assembly election.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the letter reads: \u201cI hereby write to tender my letter of resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after my loyal and dedicated service to the party since 1998.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this resignation henceforth, my membership of the party has completely come to an end.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI seize this opportunity to inform the ever growing, loyal and committed members of my political family and friends within and outside Kogi State, that my next political move will be made known after due
