The Head of Editorial, News and Current Affairs Department, Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, Mrs Lucy Damian has died. <\/p>\n
Mrs Damian reportedly passed on in the early hours of Tuesday in Abuja, barely two weeks after celebrating her 50th Birthday.<\/p>\n
She was also an ex-official of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, in the state,<\/p>\n
Reacting to the demise of the veteran journalist, the State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists has expressed shock.<\/p>\n
The Executive members of the NUJ in the state led by Adeiza Momoh in a condolence visit to the bereaved family, said Mrs Damian would be sorely missed for her contributions to promoting journalism in the state.<\/p>\n
