{"id":8552,"date":"2023-08-16T08:30:21","date_gmt":"2023-08-16T07:30:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=8552"},"modified":"2023-08-16T08:33:28","modified_gmt":"2023-08-16T07:33:28","slug":"how-kogi-fmc-nurse-got-electrocuted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/how-kogi-fmc-nurse-got-electrocuted\/","title":{"rendered":"How Kogi FMC Nurse Got Electrocuted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Lokoja, Kogi State capital, was last Friday thrown into mourning after a nurse with the medical institution died of electrocution.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The nurse, Daniel Ojo got electrocuted while trying to fix an electrical fault in his house in the Zango area of Lokoja, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebirareporters.com\">ebirareporters.com<\/a> learnt.<\/p>\n<p>It was learnt that the late Ojo, who hailed from Ogori in Ogori\/Magongo LGA, was a trained electrician when he joined the FMC as a junior staff before attending a school of nursing and qualifying as a theatre nurse a few years ago.<\/p>\n<p>A friend of the victim, Michael James, described the deceased as a reliable electrician in the town.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe late Ojo was an easy going person. He was one of the reliable electricians in the town, known to have wired many buildings and estates in Lokoja and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was doing the wiring of his own personal house and got electrocuted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A neighbour of the deceased, Mero Shaibu, said the late Ojo\u2019s three kids who were with him in the house alerted their grandfather but that he died before anything
