Ltd, all operating in Kogi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr Olowo Alex-Daudu, SON Coordinator in Kogi, in his speech at the presentation held in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023\/05\/16\/we-shall-restore-water-supply-to-lokoja-soon-kogi\/\">Lokoja<\/a> office, described the event as \u201cepoch making\u201d and \u201cvery apt\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Daudu said the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP) products could have a niche at the export market for global competitiveness and revenue drive.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt\u2019s for this reason; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.son.gov.ng\">SON<\/a> is committed to not only support products that meet the minimum requirements of Nigeria Industrial Standard (NIS) but to also showcase made in Nigeria goods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cTherefore, quality is not cheap, it\u2019s a journey and not a destination, which requires companies to keep up with the standards and innovations and not to compromise standard for profit,\u2019\u2019 he advised.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state coordinator warned that any violation of the product certification terms and conditions would attract serious consequences, including possible or outright withdrawal of certificate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While congratulating the recipients, Daudu said their products would continue to be subjected to quarterly surveillance assessment to \u201censure you maintain consistence in quality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Responding on behalf of the certified companies, Mr Najib Abboud, General Manager, Unicane Industries Ltd., thanked SON for finding their products worthy to go into the global market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThis is a great opportunity given to us to be of service to humanity through our standardized and qualitative products that will stand the global test and time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe issuance of these certificates to us today, is a testimony that Nigerian products can be competitive in the world market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe hope to keep the standard and qualify of our products in order to win the contest in the global market and put Nigeria in the Guinness Book of Records,\u201d Abboud assured.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NAN reports that Unicane Industries Ltd. produces Ethanol; Mewobi Nigeria Ltd, electricity n\u00a0 poles; Famzz Golden Grain bagged rice and Kumxy Crunchien Nig.
