Suleiman Abdulrazaq Sariki, has promised integrity and accountability to his constituents, colleagues and the state while delivering on his new responsibilities as a lawmaker.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sariki who is representing Okene I Constituency, made the promise in a statement on Tuesday, following his <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023\/06\/06\/yusuf-emerges-speaker-kogi-house-of-assembly\/\">inauguration into the 8th Assembly<\/a>, and election as the Majority Leader of the House.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He appreciated Governor Yahaya Bello whom he described as his father and leader concerned for him, adding that the Governor&#8217;s commitment to youth development is unrivaled.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The lawmaker noted the responsibilities ahead of him as a leader of the House, and vowed not to falter in the discharge of his duties.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cNo greater honour can be done to a man than to be elected by his peers as their leader and standard bearer. It is an immense privilege to be called to serve as the Majority Leader, and I pledge to carry out my duties with utmost dedication, integrity, and fairness,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nHe thanked his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), his family and we&#8217;ll wishers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWords are not enough to express how grateful I am to the people who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and supported me throughout this journey. To my family, friends, and well-wishers, thank you for your unwavering encouragement, love and sacrifices. Your belief in me has been a constant source of strength, and I am so grateful for the amazing support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cA special word of thanks goes to the constituents who have placed their trust in me and have given me the opportunity to represent their voices. I am humbled by your faith in me, and I promise to work tirelessly to address your concerns, advocate for your rights, and be a voice for positive change.
