{"id":6924,"date":"2023-05-16T13:12:06","date_gmt":"2023-05-16T12:12:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=6924"},"modified":"2023-05-16T13:12:06","modified_gmt":"2023-05-16T12:12:06","slug":"hilda-baci-guinness-world-record","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/hilda-baci-guinness-world-record\/","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;ll Verify Hilda Baci&#8217;s Record Very Soon &#8211; Guinness World Record Says\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Guinness World Record (GWR) has recognized Hilda Baci, a <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023\/05\/12\/kogi-cashew-nigeria\/\">Nigerian<\/a> Chef who cooked up a storm in her kitchen in the hopes of landing a world record.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hilda Bassey, known on social media as Hilda Baci, has been dominating headlines around the world ever since she launched her cooking marathon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She\u2019s hoping to snap up the record title for longest cooking marathon (individual) which currently belongs to Lata Tondon (India) with a time of 87 hr 45 min.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hilda began cooking on Thursday and continued through to Monday, reportedly whipping up 55 recipes and more than 100 meals in a whopping 100-hour stint.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Posting on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/news\/2023\/5\/nigerian-chef-hilda-baci-bids-for-longest-cooking-marathon-with-100-hour-kitchen-749666\">official website<\/a>, the GWR team said \u201cofficials on our records team look forward to reviewing the evidence and hope to be able to verify Hilda\u2019s efforts as a new record very soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Guinness World Records spokesperson said: \u201cWe are aware of the record attempt and are looking forward to receiving the evidence for our Records Management Team to review, before we can confirm the record is official.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hilda\u00a0 explained she was taking on the challenge to highlight Nigerian cuisine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She told CNN: \u201cNigerian cuisine is the best out there. The more recipes are propagated, the more people will be willing to try it.
