{"id":6527,"date":"2023-04-29T14:28:22","date_gmt":"2023-04-29T13:28:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=6527"},"modified":"2023-04-29T14:28:22","modified_gmt":"2023-04-29T13:28:22","slug":"kogi-born-scholar-bags-liverpool-varsity-alumni-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/kogi-born-scholar-bags-liverpool-varsity-alumni-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Kogi-born Scholar Bags Liverpool Varsity Alumni Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Kogi-born scholar in the United Kingdom, Dr Aminu Musa Audu has been nominated for the University of Liverpool Alumni award.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is contained in a letter to the recipient by Anita Irving, Associate Director of Alumni Engagement and Regular Giving, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liverpoool.ac.uk\">University of Liverpool United Kingdom<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The letter indicated that Audu\u2019s choice from many entries was arrived at after a meticulous screening.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It said that Audu\u2019s research in Community Policing was a contributory factor for his selection for the award.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201dWe received an incredibly high standard of nominations for this year\u2019s awards. The level of talent, dedication and ambition of our alumni is a credit to the University of Liverpool, and we have a firm belief that each of our alumni are making important contributions to our community, academic fields and the greater world around us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe University of Liverpool Alumni award will be conferred on him later this year in the UK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201dDr Aminu Audu is a <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2022\/07\/29\/kogi-born-scholar-wins-inaugural-american-leads-conference-award\/\">Kogi born<\/a> Nigerian whose academic exploits in Community Policing has been commended by various institutions as capable of engendering a peaceful society,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the letter, the award ceremony will hold on 14th October, 2023 at Yoko Ono Lennon Centre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The University of Liverpool Alumni Award was established to celebrate the University global Alumni community members who have distinguished themselves in their fields.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This include in terms of impacting lives positively on locals, nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
