{"id":6223,"date":"2023-04-06T20:42:01","date_gmt":"2023-04-06T19:42:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=6223"},"modified":"2023-04-06T20:42:01","modified_gmt":"2023-04-06T19:42:01","slug":"easter-frsc-deploys-880-personnel-22-patrol-vehicles-in-kogi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/easter-frsc-deploys-880-personnel-22-patrol-vehicles-in-kogi\/","title":{"rendered":"Easter: FRSC Deploys 880 Personnel, 22 Patrol Vehicles in Kogi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kogi Sector Command, has deployed 880 personnel and 22 patrol vehicles for the Easter Special Patrol Operations beginning Thursday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also deployed are 3 Ambulances and Tow Trucks to critical road corridors within the State to reduce road traffic crashes and other encumbrances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Sector Commander, Corps\u2019 Commander <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023\/02\/10\/kogi-frsc-decorates-80-promoted-officers\/\">Stephen Dawulung<\/a>, disclosed in a statement issued Thursday in Lokoja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThis Easter celebration, we are not leaving anything to chance as our special patrol operations will involve the deployment of 880 Men, 22 Patrol Vehicles, 3 Ambulances, and Tow Trucks to critical spots within Kogi purposely to reduce road traffic crashes and other encumbrances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt\u2019s our believe that through strict enforcement of road traffic laws and regulations, prompt rescue and response to distress calls, speedy removal of obstructions on the highways and orientation of the public on road safety, lives and property could be very safe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe don\u2019t want a situation where lives and property will be wasted on our highways by careless and reckless motorists on our highways just like that.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cFRSC is a ready desk with such reckless motorists in accordance with the law to serve as a deterrent to others and for the good of the Nigerian citizens,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dawulung noted that the traffic peculiarity of Kogi, the melting pot of vehicular traffic, calls for even greater commitment towards ensuring that motorists enjoy free and safe travels across the State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Sector Commander, who wished travelers a fruitful Easter celebration, advised motorists to always adhere to Road Traffic Regulations, exhibit the highest level of discipline, and avoid any unwholesome practices that may jeopardize their and others\u2019 safety on the road.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kogi Sector Command, has deployed 880 personnel and 22 patrol vehicles for&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[598,236,34],"class_list":{"0":"post-6223","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-news","7":"tag-easter","8":"tag-frsc","9":"tag-kogi"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.1 -
