Former Finance Commissioner, Asiru Idris\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A former <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023\/04\/02\/kogi-guber-apc-aspirants-and-the-deafening-silence-of-governor-bello\/\">Commissioner for Finance<\/a> and Budget Planning, Asiru Idris has stated he is the most qualified to succeed Yahaya Bello as Governor of Kogi State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Idris who is vying under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stated this on Monday at a Media parley organised Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ , Lokoja,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Guber aspirant noted that the consideration of the principle of power rotation places him ahead of the others, as the other two districts, East and Central have had their turns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He noted his commitment to operate to the letter the 32 years development master plan enunciated by Governor Yahaya Bello , if elected as Governor of the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said offering himself for the position of governorship to enable him continue with the good work the present Administration has started.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI have been a part of the development of the 32 years development plan of the state launched recently and as a contributor,I know the content in and out and I have been working on how best it can be implemented since it was launched.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI can tell you authoritatively that the development plan is all encompassing,in terms of vision for taking the state to the next level of development,;
