{"id":5723,"date":"2023-02-03T12:49:06","date_gmt":"2023-02-03T11:49:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=5723"},"modified":"2023-02-03T12:49:06","modified_gmt":"2023-02-03T11:49:06","slug":"kogi-central-pdp-writes-buhari-over-allegations-against-natasha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/kogi-central-pdp-writes-buhari-over-allegations-against-natasha\/","title":{"rendered":"Kogi Central: PDP Writes Buhari over Allegations against Natasha"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has petitioned President Muhammadu <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023\/01\/06\/buharis-visit-kogi-govt-queries-ohinoyi-of-ebiraland-threatens-disciplinary-action\/\">Buhari<\/a> following \u201cunprintable allegations\u201d against one of its candidates in the State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) had sent a petition to Mr President, asking him to investigate certain politicians in Kogi over an alleged attempt to disrupt the coming elections.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a petition signed by no fewer than 15 leaders of the group, the group accused a senatorial candidate of the PDP in Kogi, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, of sponsoring insecurity in the State<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a letter signed by its Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Illiyasu Zubaru, the Kogi PDP described those behind the purported letter as \u201cmischief makers who are obviously doing the bidding of a paymaster\u201d adding that \u201cthe said letter is outright falsehood deliberately fabricated to malign Natasha\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main opposition party also claimed the Coalition\u2019s spokesperson, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, in a statement officially issued and endorsed on February 1, had debunked the letter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIn the light of the foregoing (terrorism allegations), we urge Your Excellency to disregard the letter in question and jettison its content.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has petitioned President Muhammadu Buhari following \u201cunprintable allegations\u201d against&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2,22],"tags":[1015,140],"class_list":{"0":"post-5723","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-news","7":"category-politics","8":"tag-natasha-akpoti-uduaghan","9":"tag-pdp"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.5 -
