{"id":5682,"date":"2023-01-27T20:06:51","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T19:06:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=5682"},"modified":"2023-01-27T20:08:38","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T19:08:38","slug":"kogi-man-declared-wanted-by-icpc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/kogi-man-declared-wanted-by-icpc\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;I Want Transport Fare,&#8217; Says Kogi Man Declared Wanted by ICPC for Receiving Double Salaries\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">39 year-old Seun Samuel Ojukannaiye, an Indigene of Ekinrin-Adde, Ijumu LGA of Kogi State who was <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023\/01\/27\/icpc-declares-man-wanted-for-receiving-double-salaries-in-kogi\/\">declared wanted<\/a> by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icpc.gov.ng\">Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission<\/a> (ICPC), has given the Commission a condition to turn himself in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ojukannaiye demanded transport fare from the ICPC, and revealed that he has sent his location to the commission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The anti-graft agency had declared Ojukannaiye wanted for allegedly receiving double salaries from both the Kogi State Hospital Management Board and Kogi State University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Spokesperson for the Commission, Azuka Ogugua, in a notice on Thursday, January 26, 2023, said Mr. Ojukannaiye last known address is Hospital Quarters, Ogori, Kogi State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5683 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/IMG-20230127-WA0002-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"Kogi ICPC Seun Samuel Ojukannaiye\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAnyone who has useful information about his whereabouts should report to ICPC Headquarters Abuja, any of the ICPC State Offices, or the nearest police station, or call ICPC Toll-Free lines: 0803-123-0280, 0803-123-0281, 0803-123-0282, 0705-699-0190, 0705-699-0191 and 0800-CALL-ICPC (0800-2255-4272)\u201d the notice reads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, quoting the post declaring him wanted on the official Facebook page of the ICPC, the accused said \u201cwhen God is involved, I am still expecting the transport fare that you promised.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He further explained he had written to the ICPC about five years ago, notifying them that he did not have the resources to travel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5684 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/IMG-20230127-WA0001-238x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"238\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI wrote to them (ICPC)first. That was about 5 yrs ago (relevant documents with LAC). They requested for my presence alongside a personality of choice from a provided list. I told them I don&#8217;t have the resources to travel down to them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThey then (Olorunyomi Taiwo) requested that I send my bank details and the amount it will cost for me to come which I did.
