window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Acting Chairman of KGIRS, Alhaji Sule Salihu <a href=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2022\/11\/09\/payment-for-political-adverts-is-in-public-interest-kogi-govt\/\">Enehe<\/a> disclosed this at a media parley and presentation of E-Tax Services of KGIRS to the public, noting that the technology is capable of helping the agency generate more revenues for the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to him, the Service has fully embraced the use of technology to drive tax compliance in the state, noting that through improved service delivery, the state could conveniently generate N23 billion expected in the 2023 budget estimate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While pointing out that the world is going technology for the ease of doing business and rendering service, he said convenience, efficiency and productivity have been enhanced, noting that with E-Tax Services, issues of touting would be a thing of the past.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The acting chairman described the KGIRS as responsive to the people and urged the citizens and people living in the state to pay their tax to enable government meet up with its obligation to the people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While unveiling the service charter which he pointed out will henceforth define the payment and management of tax payment in the state, Enehe said KGIRS has been geared towards improving service delivery for the betterment of the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1317 aligncenter\" justify;\">\u201cBeginning from 2023, KGIRS will establish tax stations in all the local government areas to offer services relating to tax payment and through the Electronic- Tax Clearance Certificate Solution, E-Tax payment, E-Tax Receipting, E-Filling, E -Tax portal, tax payer registration and verification, personal income tax (informal sector) now provides for taxpayers their rights
