I cannot take any longer. I am afraid that one day he\u2019ll kill me.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHe refers to me as a burden,\u201d she told the court.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She alleged that he flogs her with sticks and his waist belt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI told my husband\u2019s family, but they did not get him to change rather, he threatened to kill me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5241 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Sad-woman-01-300x180.jpeg\" alt=\"Kogi Couple\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The petitioner pleaded with the court to dissolve the marriage and to compel the respondent to allow her move her remaining belongings from his house.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The respondent, who was present in court, did not object to the allegations levelled against him.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The judge, Mohammed Jibril,
