{"id":4770,"date":"2022-10-16T07:58:12","date_gmt":"2022-10-16T07:58:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=4770"},"modified":"2022-11-02T09:45:19","modified_gmt":"2022-11-02T08:45:19","slug":"living-faith-church-kogi-flood-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/living-faith-church-kogi-flood-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"Living Faith Church Donates Relief Materials to Kogi Flood Victims\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">By Ayobami Omole<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over one thousand households have received food packs as the Founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo launched the immediate distribution of relief package to people displaced by the 2022 flood incident in Kogi State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8080026755787218\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8080026755787218\" data-ad-slot=\"7193833156\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apart from the Headquarter of Winners Chapel in Lokongoma, Lokoja, other branches within Lokoja,the state capital, including LFC Adankolo, Gadumo, Ganaja, 500 Housing Unit and other Local Governments area including Ibaji, Idah etc and others were reached out to.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Members from across all their network of churches in Kogi State were beneficiaries as non-members who registered as flood victims were also captured in the distribution as food packs that contained Rice, Beans, Garri and a sum of Ten thousand Naira was given to each beneficiary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While flagging off the distribution of the relief packages, the State Pastor of Living Faith Church in Kogi State, Pst. Fred Attabo, described the gesture as an initiative of the President and Founder of the Church, Bishop David Oyedepo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His Words \u201cWe thank God for the Leadership, The Apostle over this Commission, Bishop David Oyedepo who heard about the flooding and immediately mobilized resources to ensure that Relief Materials get to you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The prophet over the commission is always praying for us and the testimony of this prayer is that inspite of the devastating effect of the flood, no soul was lost in our camp. To God alone be all the glory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He Said \u201cI bring greetings to you from our Father the Apostle over this Commission who sent the relief materials that we are distributing today. It is my prayer that as you receive this package, you will begin to receive greater help from above.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pst. Attabo added that it\u2019s not a welfare issue but a package for the victims of the flooding alone as over 24 local churches in Ibaji local government area was closed as a result of the flood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Attabo added that \u201cthe token we are giving you is but to cushion the effects of the flooding and ameliorate the suffering of the flood victims.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In His address, the Chairman of the Flood Response Committee, Elder Joseph Ipemida, (The Church Board Chair) advised the beneficiaries to make use of the food pack as a way of starting the process of resettlement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said\u201cWe are mandated to ensure that everyone is captured and not being our member doesn\u2019t mean you will not benefit from the package\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Elder Joseph added that the list contains the names of over two hundred people within the State church alone, and everyone will be reached.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He added that the Emergency Response which runs into several millions of naira was simultaneously carried out in all the branches affected as their Relief package have also been sent to all their churches across the nine local government areas that have been affected by the flood.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8080026755787218\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8080026755787218\" data-ad-slot=\"7193833156\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"By Ayobami Omole Over one thousand households have received food packs as the Founder of Living Faith Church,&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[955,954],"class_list":{"0":"post-4770","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-news","7":"tag-kogi-flood-victims","8":"tag-living-faith-church"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.9 -
