{"id":4651,"date":"2022-10-06T21:38:24","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T21:38:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=4651"},"modified":"2023-04-21T15:07:47","modified_gmt":"2023-04-21T14:07:47","slug":"kogi-flood-responsible-for-fuel-scarcity-in-abuja-nmdpra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/kogi-flood-responsible-for-fuel-scarcity-in-abuja-nmdpra\/","title":{"rendered":"Kogi Flood Responsible for Fuel Scarcity in Abuja \u2013 NMDPRA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has provided an advisory on the current queues at fuel stations in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8080026755787218\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8080026755787218\" data-ad-slot=\"7193833156\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to NMDPRA, the fuel queues are caused by unprecedented flooding in Lokoja, Kogi State, which has submerged a greater part of the city and grounded all vehicular movements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This unfortunately has affected the distribution of petroleum products to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and environs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NMDPRA in its statement on Thursday noted that as part of measures to mitigate the situation, trucking via alternative routes is currently ongoing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The authority assured the public that there are sufficient petroleum products inland.
