{"id":4649,"date":"2022-10-06T17:03:13","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T17:03:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=4649"},"modified":"2023-04-21T15:08:32","modified_gmt":"2023-04-21T14:08:32","slug":"court-sentences-man-to-16-years-jail-term-for-terrorism-in-kogi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/court-sentences-man-to-16-years-jail-term-for-terrorism-in-kogi\/","title":{"rendered":"Court Sentences Man to 16 Years Jail Term for Terrorism in Kogi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja has sentenced Saleh Iro Yusuf to sixteen years imprisonment for offences bordering on terrorism.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Saleh was arraigned on a four-count charge of conspiracy to commit an offence, acts of terrorism, hostage-taking and kidnapping before the Federal High Court Lokoja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The presiding Judge, P. Mallong, convicted the defendant as charged and sentenced him to four years in prison on each count.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The convict was arraigned by the Department of State Services, DSS Lokoja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The prosecuting Counsel, O.
