{"id":4607,"date":"2022-10-03T18:32:46","date_gmt":"2022-10-03T18:32:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=4607"},"modified":"2023-04-21T15:26:55","modified_gmt":"2023-04-21T14:26:55","slug":"dss-operative-killed-by-gunmen-in-imo-laid-to-rest-in-kogi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/dss-operative-killed-by-gunmen-in-imo-laid-to-rest-in-kogi\/","title":{"rendered":"DSS Operative Killed By Gunmen in Imo, Laid to Rest in Kogi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The operative of Department of State Service (DSS) who was murdered by gunmen in Imo state, Mr. Ade Bamidele Daniel has been laid to rest in his country home, Orokere Amuro in Mopamuro local government area of Kogi State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8080026755787218\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8080026755787218\" data-ad-slot=\"7193833156\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Daniel was killed by gunmen in Imo state last week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo who represented Governor Yahaya Bello at the funeral, described the passing of Daniel as a stab in the heart of the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThis is one death too many and his death is a price for the unity of our nation. Our nation cannot afford to continue to bury young people who should be at the heart of our drive for nation-building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMr Daniel was a committed and dedicated operative in the DSS who has contributed immensity to the security of the nation despite his young age and a short stint in the service. We mourn a gallant who was killed by cowards threatening the peace of our nation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cOur thoughts are with his wife, son, father, siblings, the people of Orokere Amuro and Mopamuro as a whole.
