South Africa in the Men\u2019s Team \u2013 Group 2 table tennis event at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games yesterday.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aruna and Olajide Omotayo picked up wins in the singles while Amadi Omeh and Omotayo won in the doubles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Against South Africa\u2019s Shaun Jones, Aruna triumphed in three straight sets (11 -6,11 \u2013 3, 12 -10) with Omotayo replicating the feat against another South African Chetan Nathoo (11 \u2013 9, 11-6, 11-6).<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8080026755787218\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8080026755787218\" data-ad-slot=\"7193833156\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And in the men\u2019s doubles, both Omotayo and Omeh beat South Africa\u2019s Theo Cogill and Nathoo 3-0 (11 -5, 11-5, 11 -5).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Nigerian trio was expected to play Ghana by 7.30 pm yesterday evening in their second group match.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p
