{"id":3528,"date":"2022-07-01T07:17:35","date_gmt":"2022-07-01T07:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=3528"},"modified":"2023-06-03T01:07:04","modified_gmt":"2023-06-03T00:07:04","slug":"president-buhari-tinubu-expected-in-kogi-for-commissioning-of-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/president-buhari-tinubu-expected-in-kogi-for-commissioning-of-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"President Buhari, Tinubu Expected in Kogi for Commissioning of Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Governor Yahaya Bello has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari, and the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu are amongst important dignitaries expected at the planned commissioning of projects executed in the state by his administration.<\/span><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Bello disclosed this yesterday when embarked on the final inspection of the projects in Lokoja, the state capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3529\" src=\"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1656659631484-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cI have to inspect them personally to ensure that they meet my taste, not just quality before I invite our president, our flag bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other dignitaries to come and commission our projects in Kogi State. Every place we touched is a quality and a class,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cThis moment,we are ready,we are going to contact him to send his team too, to come and inspect the projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cHe will give us the date, as soon as he give us the date, we will let you know.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The projects inspected include Muhammadu Buhari civic Centre, GYB Model Science Secondary School, Ganaja Flyover bridge, Specialist Hospital, amongst others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Governor commended the contractor that executed the job at the Specialist Hospital, Friday Idachaba, an indigene of the state for a job well done.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Also speaking on the sideline of the event, the Chief Medical Director of the Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, Prof.Isa Adagiri Yahaya commended the state government for upgrading the quality of healthcare services at the hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">According to him, the hospital now have up to 50 medical doctors including 14 specialists in psychiatric, orpthamology, gynecology among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">This he added was an addition to other healthcare staff as well as modern equipment to ensure effective health care services, adding that more health personnel would be employed to cope with the work load of the hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cA new psychiatric ward has also been built for the hospital with full fledged offices,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">He said that the state government had procured an advance life support clinic to be delivered to the hospital soon in addition to the promise by the governor to provide the hospital with advance x-ray machine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The machine Prof. Yahaya explained, can be used to x-ray
