{"id":2734,"date":"2022-03-27T15:52:35","date_gmt":"2022-03-27T15:52:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=2734"},"modified":"2022-03-27T15:52:35","modified_gmt":"2022-03-27T15:52:35","slug":"2023-kogi-governor-yahaya-bello-to-declare-for-president-on-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/2023-kogi-governor-yahaya-bello-to-declare-for-president-on-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"2023: Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello to Declare for President on Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">All roads lead to the Federal Capital Territory on Saturday, April 2nd 2022 as Governor of Kogi State Yahaya Bello will officially declare to run for President come 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The event has been scheduled to hold at the Eagles Square in Abuja.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Governor had waited for his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, to conduct a successful convention and elect the National Executives before making his official declaration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Recall that in January, while addressing journalists in Lokoja, the Governor hinted on declaring after the convention earlier scheduled for February.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">He said: &#8220;We are looking forward to the convention of our great party and by the grace of God, I will declare. But we must have a platform to run on and that is the All Progressives Congress. The party has been built solidly under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni. They have done a great job, we shall conclude the rest in our convention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cBy the mandate and calling of Nigerians, Nigerian youths and women and people all over the world that are calling me to run and build on the achievement of President Muhammadu Buhari.
