{"id":2689,"date":"2022-03-18T14:03:27","date_gmt":"2022-03-18T14:03:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=2689"},"modified":"2022-03-18T14:03:27","modified_gmt":"2022-03-18T14:03:27","slug":"kogi-sdp-chairman-mukhtar-atimah-resigns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/kogi-sdp-chairman-mukhtar-atimah-resigns\/","title":{"rendered":"Kogi SDP Chairman, Mukhtar Atimah Resigns\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Alhaji Mukhtar Atimah has resigned as Chairman of the Kogi State Chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Secretary of the party, Pastor Musa Chubiyojo on Thursday confirmed the resignation in a statement, stating that Atimah sent in his resignation letter on Wednesday through a third party.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">While the reason for his resignation was not disclosed, the party has since appointed the Kogi Central Zonal Chairman of the party, Hon. Zubair Oyiwe consequently as his successor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Party members congratulated and advised the new Chairman to work with the templates of his predecessor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The incoming Chairman thanked stakeholders for the opportunity given to him to serve.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Oyiwe commended the outgoing chairman for for his focus and determination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">He promised to put his best in takingthe party to a greater height.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">He also charged the Kogi State SDP family to \u201cremain un-distracted as we build a synergy to get into power at all levels in the forth coming general elections\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Alhaji Mukhtar Atimah has resigned as Chairman of the Kogi State Chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[34,399],"class_list":{"0":"post-2689","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-news","7":"tag-kogi","8":"tag-sdp"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.5 -
