Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has apologised to customers in its franchise area over the grid collapse which occurred on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n AEDC\u2019s Chief Marketing Officer, Mr Donald Etim, gave the apology in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n He said that there was general outage across AEDC network at 10:40 a.m. on Monday due to system collapse which occurred in the national grid.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAppropriate measures are now being taken to restore normal supply as quickly as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe sincerely apologise for the inconveniences,\u201d Etim said.<\/span><\/p>\n AEDC has an expansive franchise area covering the Federal Capital Territory, Niger, Kogi and Nasarawa States.<\/span><\/p>\n The total area of coverage is 133,000 km square.<\/span><\/p>\n The company is organised into nine regions and 39 area offices across the capital and the abutting four states.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has apologised to customers in its franchise area over the grid collapse which occurred…\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[355,289,34],"class_list":{"0":"post-2674","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-news","7":"tag-abuja","8":"tag-aedc","9":"tag-kogi"},"yoast_head":"\n
