The Kogi State Police Command has arrested three suspected kidnappers terrorizing Auchi-Okene road in the State.<\/span><\/p>\n The command equally recovered 12 cows from the arrested suspects.<\/span><\/p>\n The Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), DSP William Ovye Aya in a statement sent to DAILY POST on Wednesday said the arrested suspects are Mohammed Shehu, Idris Suleiman and Abubakar Ibrahim.<\/span><\/p>\n According to Aya, on the 4th of January, 2022, the command acted upon intelligence tip-off on criminal hideouts along Auchi-Okene road, in which they swung into action to arrest the criminal suspects.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe suspects confessed to belonging to a gang terrorizing Okene and its environs\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n Items recovered from suspects include, one Dane gun, two cartridges, food items and the sum of N45,000.<\/span><\/p>\n Aya added that the suspects will be arraigned in court on completion of the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"..
