{"id":1838,"date":"2021-11-16T06:25:27","date_gmt":"2021-11-16T06:25:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=1838"},"modified":"2021-11-16T06:25:27","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T06:25:27","slug":"gov-bello-pays-n2-5m-medical-bill-of-vanguard-reporters-wife","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/gov-bello-pays-n2-5m-medical-bill-of-vanguard-reporters-wife\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov Bello Pays N2.5m Medical Bill of Vanguard Reporter&#8217;s Wife"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">..\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Governor Yahaya Bello on Monday donated N2.5 million towards the medical bill of Mrs Obahopo, the wife of Mr. Bolu Obahopo, the state correspondent of Vanguard Newspaper who was involved in a ghastly motor accident on Okene-Kabba road barely a week ago.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The accident which she survived had claimed five lives and other victims sustained varied degrees of injury.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, who delivered the money to Obahopo, on behalf of the governor,assured the Correspondent that Bello\u201d stands with the Obahopo family over the sad incident\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cThe Governor is sad over this unfortunate incident. He has been very concerned about the medical State of the Wife of Mr Bolu Obahopo and has expressed confidence that the woman will pull through.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cHe has mandated me to follow up and ensure I feed him with situation report. He said he will stand with the family throughout the duration of treatment,\u201dFanwo said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Mr Obahopo who received the donation said:\u201cI don\u2019t know what to say. My Governor has stepped in to save the life of my wife and I will be eternally grateful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cThis is what he does for journalists.
