Afrobeat star, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare\u00a0 ‘Jaywon’ has taken a swipe at the lawmaker representing his senatorial district, Kogi West, Sunday Karimi.<\/p>\n

Jaywon, in an Instagram post, threw shades at the Senator for not adding value to his constituency after spending eight years in the lawmaking chambers in Abuja.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cWith a heavy heart, I write this. It\u2019s truly sad that Senator Sunday Karimi has spent eight years in office, yet there\u2019s absolutely nothing to show for his time as a representative of his own constituency.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver these eight years, Egbe(his own town) has been undergoing significant challenges, and even now, the situation remains dire.\u201d<\/p>\n
Continuing, Jaywon wrote, \u201cIt\u2019s disheartening to have a leader you once had high hopes for, only to witness zero impact in the constituency, particularly in his hometown of Egbe in Yagba west area of Kogi State.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe community deserves much better than empty promises and a lack of progress, especially with the abandonment of the power plant project the government promised. It\u2019s time for real change and leadership that genuinely serves the people. I remembered when growing up years back in Egbe, we used to have good roads compared to now. It\u2019s high time to put an end to bad governance.\u201d<\/p>\n
