{"id":1158,"date":"2021-08-31T15:18:19","date_gmt":"2021-08-31T15:18:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/?p=1158"},"modified":"2021-08-31T15:18:19","modified_gmt":"2021-08-31T15:18:19","slug":"traffic-frsc-advises-motorists-to-avoid-lokoja-kabba-highway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebirareporters.com\/traffic-frsc-advises-motorists-to-avoid-lokoja-kabba-highway\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic: FRSC Advises Motorists to Avoid Lokoja-Kabba Highway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">&#8230;&#8230;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Federal Road Safety Corps has advised the motoring public to avoid the Lokoja-Kabba Highway due to an obstruction around the Obajana cement factory in Kogi State.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In a statement on Tuesday by FRSC Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, the Corps urged motorists to use the Lokoja-Okene-Kabba, or Lokoja-Okene-Ogorimangogo as alternative routes to or fro the South-West.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The statement read, \u201cMembers of the motoring public and general commuters travelling from or to Southwest, through Lokoja-Kabba- Federal Highway are hereby notified of the caving in of a section of the road between Zariagi and Obajana cement factory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cThis development has led to an obstruction of free flow of traffic. As all the concerned authorities are making frantic efforts to carry out emergency repairs to restore normal flow of traffic, the emergency work may take some hours to complete.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cIn view of the foregoing, motorists, travellers, and the general public are hereby advised to use Lokoja-Okene-Kabba, or Lokoja-Okene-Ogorimangogo as alternative routes to or fro Southwest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cThe Federal Road Safety Corps solicits maximum cooperation of the motoring public on this development.
