The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Legal Matters, Barrister Emmanuel Omeiza Shadrach has said that the developmental stride of Governor Yahaya Bello since assumption of office can be felt by all.
Shadrach in an interview with ebirareporters.com over the weekend, spoke on the successes of the administration in six years, stating that the Governor has placed the state amongst other states on a high pedestal.
He said that the Governor should be commended for nipping insecurity in the bud and uniting the people across various tribes in the state.
“Before the coming on board of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello as the Executive Governor of Kogi State, we all knew how things were security wise. We all know as well that before any meaningful development can take place, peace is a prerequisite and that is exactly what my mentor has done by tackling insecurity, making Kogi the safest state in the country.
“He has built bridges of unity in the state and today, the Ebiras, Igalas, Okuns, Kakandas, Nupes and the rest see ourselves as one, just as we have realized the beauty in our diversity.
“His Excellency has done so well that even the deaf can hear the sound of his developmental strides, and the blind cannot deny that the people’s Governor is doing those things that seemed impossible before in the state,” he said.
He added that Governor Bello deserves all the accolades he has been receiving from within and outside the country, while praising him for carrying youths and women along in his administration.
