Former LG Administrator Says Edward Onoja ‘Forcefully’ Removed Him from Office, Ceased Car

..

Recent political bickerings in Kogi political space have shown that all is not well in Governor Yahaya Bello’s political family, as political camps are beginning to take on themselves in public fights.

From Senator Smart Adeyemi casting aspersions on programmes sponsored by the Chief of Staff, Abdulkareem Asuku; to a first tenure Commissioner, Salisu Ogu loyal to Deputy Governor Edward Onoja beaten up by thugs while conducting a parallel inauguration of party executives.

Heating it up between Asuku’s camp and Onoja’s, a former Administrator of Dekina Local Government Area, Kabiru Idris has come out publicly to accuse Onoja of forcefully removing him from office.

Idris who shared the post on Facebook said despite Governor Yahaya Bello’s professed love for him, Onoja also ceased one of his cars one week after.

His post:

After Edward and his boy Ahmedi forcefully removed me out of office as chief administrator of Dekina LGA,his Excellency the executive Governor of kogi state Alh Yahaya Bello said and i quote”

Kabiru i love you, go to your new office with all your official cars to carried out your duty effectively.

Guess what happened? after some weeks, Edward and Ahmedi ceased one of the cars for reasons I dnt know.

And you guys think the God we all serve will allow you guys go scot free? the answer is no.

All of these are indicators of what is to come as the clock ticks towards who succeed their boss, Governor Yahaya Bello.

While Bello has kept his cards to his chest, the only time he mentioned his succession plan was earlier in August, in an exclusive interview.

When asked where he would pick his successor from, the Governor did not say, but went on to assure that the best would emerge.

“At an appropriate time, I know that the person will emerge, and whoever emerges will be the best for Kogi State.

“I am grooming leaders across the state, from the local to the state level. By the time I will be concluding my second term in office, I want to assure you that anybody picked at the end of the day would be good for the state,” he said.

However, the leaders whom he is grooming have divided into camps with their boys in public fights.
