Kogi-born rights activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, has berated the Christian Youth Leadership Network for endorsing the aspiration of Governor Yahaya Bello to vie for the nation’s presidency in 2023.
In a tweet, Adeyanju said the Christian group are from hellfire.
The activist described Bello as the worst governor in the history of Nigeria who should not be allowed to govern hellfire, let alone Nigeria.
“He is the reason why old people will never trust the youth with power. A complete failure and the worst Governor in Nigeria since 1999,” Adeyanju tweeted.
The Christian group led by Apostle Faith Eches had endorsed Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello as the right choice to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 in Abuja on Saturday during the opening of its two-day national retreat.
Faith Eches, Convener of the retreat, said a young person of Mr Bello’s calibre in 21st century Nigeria could change the narratives of the country through effective leadership and governance.
Mr Eches said the kind of president that could actualise the collective dreams of Nigerians and address their challenges was needed urgently for the country.
